Related (Helpful) Links
On my last site I went a little crazy with the links. On this revamped site I'm limiting my links to just a chosen few who I know really help others to produce film projects.
- Peter D. Marshall - Peter has had an ezine back before it was even vaguely popular. Through the years he has maintained a level of integrity as a working film director and as a sincere instructor through his workshops. Check out his web site and his blog. His archives has a wealth
of information in it.
- Tom Garrett - Looking for a Film School? Tom is a producer/professor, as well as a character that thrives in the biz. One of his students at the University of Tampa said it all when he described Tom as "Pulp Fiction" meets "Reservoir Dogs". Check out his IMDb and
his profile. He is truly a very cool guy who cares about what his students need to make it in the real world of film production. If you're looking for a film school prof who tells it like it is, check out Tom.
- Guy Magar, the Action/Cut Instructor & Seminar
Founder, in his article “How To Finance Your Films”. It
was definitely therapeutic for me to find an experienced independent filmmaker
state the truth, instead of the usual ‘guarantees’ that I was finding on the
net. Click this link to read it: http://www.actioncut.com/fms/howtofinanceyourfilm.htm
.
- Link to every IATSE Union - Internationally. If you know the Local #, just type it in and click 'Go'. If not, choose the State/Province and you'll get a full listing of every IATSE union local in that state/province: IATSE International.
